Hi! My name is Gini. I am 66 years young and from South Lake Tahoe. A large beautiful lake that spans the states of California and Nevada . Great place to raise my sons. I am new to blogging and decided why not. I am a semi-retired Urgent Care nurse and still pick up a few per-diem shifts during the summer months when back in Lake Tahoe. Late fall to early spring it's going where ever the winds take us in our fifth-wheel. I will be sharing adventures, new activities, pictures, funny commentary, dealing with exercise and diet on the road, mental health and so much more. Retirement caused a bit of anxiety at first because I am a person of routine so I have learned to navigate that and was frankly surprised when I became anxious because that is not part of my personality and wasn't expecting it. Surprise, surprise! Not a fan of the feeling. I hope you enjoy my sharing of all of the above and hopefully help you in your journey. If you guys are lake my husband and I when you reached the age of becoming a senior the general thought is.........when the hell did that happen!!!! We are definitely a more active group than the generations before us. Can't wait to see where this takes me.
